Alschuler Moving PICT Classic Theatre Forward With Diversity & A Community-Based Approach

“Steven Alschuler, president of the public relations firm Alschuler Communications, has been at work as new president of the board of directors of PICT Classic Theatre. He took over the job Jan. 1 in a time of transition for the company, after a season when PICT was in financial crisis and was forced to cancel two productions while it seeks a new venue. Mr. Alschuler is moving forward with a community-based approach and has formed a diversity committee that includes himself, board members Steve Cuden and Eileen Clancy along with Ricardo Vila-Roger, teaching artist in residence at Pitt.”

PICT Classic Theatre Names Steven Alschuler President of the Board

Steven Alschuler, President of Pittsburgh-based public relations firm Alschuler Communications, has been named President of the Board of Directors of PICT Classic Theatre. He joined PICT’s board last year and became President, effective January 1, 2016.

Lisa Vucelich Joins Alschuler Communications

Lisa Vucelich has joined the firm as a Senior Account Executive. Vucelich will work directly with company President Steven Alschuler on behalf of the firm’s clients.

Vucelich has more than 10 years of experience in the communications industry, having worked on advertising and public relations campaigns in New York, Pittsburgh and Paris.

“Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our firm, as she’s worked with a diverse set of clients, ranging from those with campaigns of national scope to local, not-for-profit organizations whose work directly impacts our city,” Alschuler said.  “She understands what it takes to achieve success for each of our clients, and she’s very passionate in doing so.”

Vucelich is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Journalism and French.
